Kick Point Guide
The kick point is where the shaft loads and releases its energy on a shot. A lower load point snaps off quick shots in tight; a higher one stores more power for a big wind-up. Here is every kick point we build, with the code the factory uses and the suffix it gets in our stock model names.
Low Kick
Loads near the blade so the shaft releases fast. Built for quick wrist and snap shots in tight.
Best for: Wrist shots, snap shots, quick release
Build with Low KickMid Kick
Loads in the center of the shaft for maximum stored power on a full swing.
Best for: Slap shots, one-timers, power
Build with Mid KickHybrid Kick
The load point shifts with your lower hand: toward the center for slap and snap shots, closer to the blade for wrist shots. Quick release and power without giving up either.
Best for: Two-way players who want both
Build with Hybrid KickHigh Kick
Loads high near your top hand, the longest lever, storing the most energy on a full wind-up with a stiff lower shaft for stability.
Best for: Slap shots, long-range power
Build with High KickA couple of names differ on the factory sheet from what you pick here: Hybrid Kick is written as its J Kick code, and High Kick carries the two-letter model suffix. Those mappings come straight from our production records, so what you choose is exactly what gets built.
